Kabekona
Peace at the end of the trail
Welcome to the Kabekona Lake Association website. Here you can learn about why we love this beautiful lake, why we work hard to protect it, and why you may want to become involved in those efforts.
Great news! No invasive plants were found in Kabekona Lake in 2026!
A professional plant survey of Kabekona Lake was completed in August 2026. This type of survey checked the entire lake perimeter for invasive plants, specifically looking for starry stonewort, Eurasian watermilfoil, and curly-leaf pondweed. None of these invasive plants were found. This 2026 survey was funded by the Kabekona Lake Foundation with the generous support of KLA members. For detailed information about this 2026 survey, please see this report HERE.
